This is a NEW ENGINE TOP END REBUILD KIT for all year models of your 1988-2000 Honda TRX 300 FW/2x4 four-wheelers.

This kit includes:

  • A NEW OEM QUALITY HONED CYLINDER.  We make sure that each of our cylinders is honed before they leave our facility.  
    • Why is this important?  Final honing of the cylinder creates a crosshatch pattern that gives the piston rings the correct textured surface for proper seating.  This will insure proper break-in for the rings allowing them to seat correctly which, in turn, provides a longer lasting top end rebuild.  The importance of the honing procedure cannot be over-emphasized.
  • A NEW Shindy brand STOCK SIZE (74.00MM) PISTON KIT.  This includes a new piston, piston rings, wrist pin and two circlips.  The stock size bore makes your rebuild hassle free with no carb jetting or modifications required.  We personally measure and inspect every piston and cylinder for proper piston to wall clearance before they ship out.  This ensures that when you receive this kit, everything is perfectly sized, machined and ready to bolt on.
  • A NEW FULL TOP END GASKET KIT.  Unlike other sellers' kits that only offer the cylinder base and head gaskets, our kit includes these and also the exhaust gasket, both valve stem seals, rocker cover gasket, o-rings, etc.  See for yourself:  other sellers' gasket kits do not provide all the parts needed for a complete top end rebuild.  
  • A NEW OIL FILTER & SEALING O-RINGS.  We provide a new top quality oil filter with the sealing O-rings which should always be replaced any time you rebuild your top end.  You should always install a new oil filter to help insure longevity of your new top end rebuild kit. 
  • A NEW NGK SPARK PLUG CORRECT FOR YOUR ATV.
  • INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROPER BREAK-IN PROCEDURES AND CYLINDER PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS ARE INCLUDED.
  • OUR KITS ARE A DIRECT FIT, READY TO BOLT ON WITH NO MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED.
